Simultaneously with the 3rd EDAs, the second edition of the European meeting of young people with albinism took place in Milano in April 2014.

Once again ALBA promoted this event as an Erasmus+ project and secured European funds to cover the costs of the meeting, organized by Albinit. This second edition could profit from the experience acquired during the first edition, also thanks to the feedbacks received by the participants. This second edition has been two days longer than the first one, involved a higher number of young people and has been devoted to tackling issues such as independence and mobility with public transports, independence, self awareness and acceptation. On the final day a parade was organized through the central streets of Milano to stimulate self pride and sensibilize the public about albinism (#whiteumbrellas).
